The Magic of Denso Tape.
For me, Denso Tape is the Holy Grail of quick fix boat repairs.  It sticks
to almost anything,  probably even Teflon, even when it is wet.  Below
are a series of photos that suggest how to prepare this evil, sticky,
tape ready for rapid and mess free use during a river trip.
Denso Tape,
Accept no substitute!
Prepare a quality carrier bag by
slicing it open and laying it out flat.

I suggest using a sandwich or
freezer bag as a glove to prevent
a sticky situation from developing!
Cut three or four strips and space
evenly on the opened carrier bag.

Then fold it so polythene separates
each Denso strip.
Trim to a pocket sized
piece.

Job done, and hopefully
not too messy.
Applying Denso Tape.
No need to dry the area,
though of course you can if
you want to.
Smooth it down with the polythene it
was wrapped in.

Make sure the grease is well pressed in.
And that is it!

It works especially well if it is used on the inside of a hull for a repair,
but works outside great as also.
